Preferred Qualifications:
- BA or BS in Accounting, Finance or related fields.
- 3-5 years of accounting experience in Commercial Industrial Real Estate accounting or experience in accrual-based accounting for residential properties.
- Thorough understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and fixed asset accounting.
- Demonstrated experience with preparing financial statements and monthly variance analysis.
- Technical skills required – Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, NetSuite.
- Understanding of real estate tax issues.
- Yardi experience preferred.
